Overview: Russ Weybright

Russ brings 30 years of experience delivering dramatic operational improvement to companies large and small. Russ has excelled in bringing rapid EBITDA growth through best practice implementation during acquisition integrations, provided process improvement solutions in the order-to-cash cycle that dramatically improve responsiveness to customers and reduce errors, and led efforts to design and implement customer-focused operations strategies that deliver incremental, high-margin revenue. In addition, Russ has led a project at a "Big 4" consulting firm to develop and introduce an operational efficiency service line for healthcare providers. This service line was based on the transfer of best practices from industry to healthcare.

Prior to founding RW Solutions, Russ spent a successful career in senior management positions at such companies as Johnson & Johnson, General Electric, Eaton Corporation, Asea Brown Boveri and Sundstrand Corporation, now part of United Technologies. In addition, Russ has served smaller companies such as Aeroquip/Vickers, now part of Eaton Corporation, and Katun Corporation, a global distributor of imaging products. Areas of responsibility have included: plant management, worldwide distribution, strategic sourcing (outsourcing, insourcing and global sourcing since 1989), profit/loss responsibility for domestic and foreign subsidiaries, procurement (up to $1 billion annually) and indirect spend.

Russ brings a passionate belief that small and mid-size companies are the growth engine for the U.S. economy and has chosen to focus his consulting efforts on these market segments. He will bring a company with aggressive growth aspirations the perspective of their large customers and help develop and implement customer-focused processes that drive top- and bottom-line improvements.

In the community, Russ is a co-founder of the Supply Chain Professionals Network of Minnesota, a group focused on networking and skills enhancement for supply chain professionals. Current membership is at 70 professionals. Russ also serves on the west metro leadership board of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Russ received a BA in economics from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. He received his MBA from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York. Russ has also published articles and is an active speaker in the Twin Cities area.
